The Classic 120 - In Honour of The Past
The 'Classic 120' is a replica of the World renowned Jaguar XK 120 of the late Nineteen-Forties and early Fifties. As you would expect the car uses major Jaguar mechanical components. These can be removed from an XJ6 (1969/86) or Jaguar XJS (3.6ltr) donor car. Modifications are necessary to some items and for this purpose an exchange scheme is in place for the home builder. Items which were prone to corrosion on the donor cars are not required for the assembly and are therefore discarded. The build is a straight forward procedure taking approximately 650 hours. Each chassis/body kit is accompanied by a build manual. But should the self builder need our help, we will be there, behind you all the way. For those who might find some elements of a 'build' daunting , we have a part assembly programme and naturaly, the full factory assembled car option.
One Stop Parts Shop
Every part required by the self builder, to complete the car to a high standard of finish, is directly available from the Company at a competitive price. But this does not prevent the more experienced from sourcing parts themselves and stamping their character on their car. Using the 'Nostalgia' boxed steel, fully bracketed chassis frame as the basis of the replica, a customer is assured a trouble free assembly and guaranteed high standards of finish and performance. Modified components and all essential items are available from our Devon/Somerset works to provide the customer with a fast reliable parts supply service.
The Classic 140
The Classic is also available in XK140 OTS standard format with a redesigned boot lid and closing panel which gives adequate provision for the full width bumpers and overiders as shown below. The Classic 140 incorporates a bonnet chromium finisher, revised radiator grille and badge assembly.
